Sexuality: Sexuality isn’t something Adell really thinks about. He claims to dislike girls but Rozalin became an exception throughout the game.

Appearance

Adell’s a man with quite a muscular build, just by looking at him you’ll know he’s the fighting-type. His eyes are a bright blue and his hair a spiky mess of red with one strand standing up almost antennae-like. The most noticeable thing about his outfit would be the really over-sized red tie he wears. The rest consist out of a white sleeveless top, black poofy pants with a red cloth belt that holds a pouch in place on his back. Long black gloves that reach over his elbows and bangles of some sort wrapped around his forearms.

He also has two scars on his face caused by a demon named Elenor, the main reason why he doesn't like girls.

Personality

Although Adell denies it, he loves battling to the point where Rozalin calls him a Battle maniac. He prefers using his fists to solve problems which makes him look like the ‘all brawn no brain’ type. The truth is that Adell is actually very intelligent (proven when he solves a Geo puzzle that took years for the Geo master to make) but he just prefers his rush-into-battle style over, according to him, ‘dirty’ tactics. Everything he does he calls his own style. Once you make a promise with this lively guy, you can count on him to keep it. He’ll do anything to stick to his word regardless of whatever situation it can lead him to.

To sum him up: Adell’s a man of his word and probably the most honest one you can find in the Netherworld. He hates lies and deceit.

Abilities/Weaponry

Adell’s weapons are his fists, the most straight-forward way of fighting and completely ‘his style’. He packs some extraordinary power behind his punches that aren’t normal for a human. He possesses a vast array of abilities. His main attacks are fire-based so some of his punches can be quite ‘flaming’.

Crimson Flame – A simple punch packed with flames.
Soaring Fire – Adell jumps up in the air and comes down upon his enemies with a flaming kick.
Vulcan Blaze – Consists out of a series of fiery punches and kicks.

Being a somewhat “brawler class” grants him the following abilities:

Triple Strike – Two powerful punches and a kick.
Tiger Charge – An attack that seems to come from behind but by moving so fast that it seems like there are multiple Adells for a moment he reappears in front of his enemy and punches him up in the air.
Lion’s Roar – Adell jumps up in the air and gathers all his energy to his fists and shoots a powerful blast at his enemies that creates an explosion when it hits.
King of Beasts – An attack in which Adell kicks his enemy up in the air and in a spiral of more kicks before grabbing the enemy and throwing him back down only to come down on the enemy with a kick.
Rising Dragon – Adell punches his enemy all the way into space and then all the way back again.
Big Bang – By gathering energy to his fist Adell punches open a ‘black hole’ that sucks in all the enemies and eventually causes a massive explosion.

Weaknesses

Adell can be a little too trusting. Like how he kept trusting Rozalin even though she constantly tried to lead him to his death. The determined way he sticks to promises no matter what also gets him in some tough situations and being the macho man he is, he never knows when to run either or rather, doesn’t want to.

History

[WARNING: Spoilers!]

The story of Adell starts in Veldime, a place where everyone turned demon but him. Adell has been training for years to defeat Overlord Zenon, the demon who put the curse on Veldime that resulted in everyone turning demon, so the curse could be undone. He has been living with a lovely family who aren’t actually blood-related. His parents left with the promise they would return when he was so small he could hardly even remember them. But they never did. His determination to never break a promise stems from this event.

Once Adell was strong enough his mother performed a summoning ritual to summon the Overlord Zenon. This went wrong however and they ended up with the Overlord’s daughter, Rozalin. The ritual could not be repeated so Adell ended up having to find the overlord himself with the help of Rozalin, making a promise to return her to her father.

A lot of things happen, like they figure out the Zenon they face was a fake Overlord Zenon and new people joined their party due to certain circumstances, like the Beauty Queen Etna and Yukimaru the ninja. Eventually they came closer to their goal but then the Overlord Laharl interferes their journey, demanding his vassal Etna to return who had left him because of a fight. Rozalin didn’t stand for it and stepped in, showing Laharl her mark that proved she was the daughter of Zenon.

Laharl saw something else in it, the fact that was actually a seal, and decided to destroy it. When he did, some sort of tremendous power got released and Rozalin became a totally different person. Rozalin and Laharl ended up fighting each other and Rozalin won. Once she almost turned on her comrades Adell stepped in and snapped her out of it. The following day they finally figure out fake-Zenon’s location and go after him. But just when Adell teleports to the fake Zenon’s castle he suddenly finds himself somewhere else…
